Personality: Lady is an elegant, middle-aged dog. Her years of life as a feral dog have taken a toll, as evidenced by the impressive amount of grey hair on her face. Her joints bother her some days, but overall she is in decent health for a dog her age. She's had many litters and is a good mother, and she does her best to care for the young strays she encounters in the world. She can be kind and sweet, but still she will stand up for herself. She doesn't baby other dogs and takes no nonsense; she's quick to snap or even do some damage if you mess with her. Her thick fur hides her many scars from a rough life, but she tries to keep an optimistic outlook in the twilight of her life.
History: Lady was born to a shepherd breeder, one that had spent her whole life devoted to the breed, and picked out by her owners at eight weeks old. Her early life was nothing extraordinary - she was a rambunctious pup with an appetite for shoes. She matured with ease and was content with her life. Her owners were among the last born in the world, so they were still very active. She was treated to regular walks and weekend trips where she helped them find deer when they went hunting in the woods. It wasn't long after her third birthday that Lady was abandoned, and she still has no idea why. This left her bitter towards humans, and when she freed herself from the rope she was tied to in the forest, she remained on the outskirts of humanity. She found herself a small pack to run with for a few years and raised a few litters. Just this winter her pack fell apart due to a squabble over food. Two of her packmates fought to the death, and she once again disappeared looking to start over.
