Name: Roman
Gender: Male
Breed: German Shepherd x Kangal
Age: 2 Years Old
Height: 31 inches
Weight: 126 lbs.
Color: Irish white with black and tan
Strengths: Size, Strength although he isn't so aware of it yet, and Loyalty
Faults: Poor Swimmer, Easy to Manipulate, Too Trusting
Personality: Not very talkative at first.
He is not aware of his own strength but aware of his own size. Roman is a very gentle giant though and is quite affectionate and typically on the calm end of the spectrum.
Sensitive. He is the sweetest and is easily hurt by words. ButRoman has a rather serious look, usually an angry expression, but that is just his natural look when he is otherwise listening or in general not doing anything else. This look on his face makes him appear rough and intimidating to some. But he is far from that on the inside.
Shy. Roman tends to be quiet around those he doesn't know, but also he even can be found being shy around those he knows well. He doesn't like drawing attention to himself so he tries to stick to the background.
Empathetic. He likes to hear and see both sides of every story and situation and shares often with another individuals feelings.
Easy to manipulate and easily trusts others. He can easily be talked into and out of stuff, no matter good or bad. He doesn't have the best judgement so he likes to look to others to lead him and help him make decisions and help him judge things.
But, sweet or not, Roman is not the best under pressure and will snap at others in a panic if he feels he is being cornered and is stressing. He doesn't mean to snap, usually. If he or someone he holds close is physically attacked he will fight back but only enough to give him and others room to make an escape. The chances of being brave otherwise in other kinds of situations tend to be rare.
History: Roman was one of the smallest in his litter as a pup but as he grew older he didn't stay the smallest.
He didn't have many problems growing up. He was close enough to his siblings that he got along with them all rather well, and he wasn't bullied by anyone. He as well was close to his mother, and very attentive when it came to her. Every word she said and everything she taught him and his siblings he would take in like a sponge.
Roman could have been considered a momma's boy as a pup. To make it simple.
He adored his mother Lady, but was not so sure of his father ever. His father was there, in the picture, but Roman never could establish a bond with him.
As he got older and he and his siblings started establishing their place in the pack Romans place was closer to the bottom. But he did not mind this. At just a year old he requested that his ears be made to look like his fathers. He wanted to look a bit tougher, maybe even be like his dad and hopefully gain his attention. But it never quite happened even once his ears were cropped by the teeth of one of his fellow pack mates.
Everything was well in Romans life though, nonetheless, even with the lack of a relationship with his father. But that peaceful life began to fall apart a little after he turned two years old. The pack began to fight over food and started to fall apart and Roman realized his lower spot in the pack was not the best since he began getting pushed around and even attacked and food was not being shared with him anymore. He was not a fighter so he quickly dipped away and began staying in the background. He occasionally found peace when he was near his mother or his siblings. They made him feel safe until two members of the pack killed each other. When that happened Roman felt the fear and the insecurity hit him hard. He felt unsure and unsafe, even a bit traumatized having seen two members of a pack he called family tear each other apart. Then his mother left the pack and Roman felt like maybe it was his time to go as well but he wasn't sure if he could fend for himself so easily. He hoped for a sibling or two to come with him but he didn't wait around for very long before he set off on his own to hopefully find another pack or just to simply find another place to call home.
Other: One of Lady's pups. He is from her third litter.
