Sitting on the cliffs just south of the Village of Acton is the Church of Inner Peace. A small adobe building is the church, and just behind it is a garden that one imagines must be a replica of the garden of Eden. Exotic plants and trees twist and cover the small stone path that circles through it. Flowers bloom, succulents grow tall and flat and every which way in the shade, carpet grass coats every inch around the stone path. At the edge of the garden is a short wood fence looking over a sheer drop into the wide blue ocean. This has always been a magical place, even more so now that it grows as it desires.
