No New Posts motel 22;

This motel was never a nice place, not even on opening day, and the years have not been kind to it. It was abandoned by the owner about 20 years ago, but just recently the local power grid finally ran dry and the doors electric locks gave up. The doors are easy enough for a dog to flick open, and inside the rooms are still in decent shape but covered in an inch of dust. Still structurally sound, this building can provide shelter for many years to come. The swimming pool is half full of murky green water, but fortunately in the woods behind it there is a small stream.

No New Posts el oso drive-in;

This drive-in was built in the fifties and remained in use until about ten years ago. The few storage and snack bar buildings are still in decent shape, but the screen is definitely beginning to show its advanced age. Still, this remains a meeting place. Grass and debris litter the yard now, but many dogs come here to seek others to find a pack or a mate. This is seen as a peaceful, neutral place so fighting is frowned upon.

No New Posts downtown;

Downtown was once a nicely decorated city center with lots of shops and restaurants for people to enjoy. Despite the struggles of the world it carried on the best it could, and as such it has only just begun to decay. Many of the shops are completely bare, but if you hunt hard enough you may be able to find some goodies that have been combed over. The street lamps still click on in the evening, lighting the brick streets and overgrown ivy walls. This place feels lonely.

No New Posts train depot;

This train depot is adjacent to downtown, but feels a world apart with how quickly it has become run down. It's been shut down for many years now, as a dwindling workforce had to condense to where it was most necessary. Passenger trains and cargo trains alike sit decaying on the tracks, some still full of cargo but simply forgotten. A smart dog may be able to find a cushy train car to turn into a nice home.

No New Posts mariposa park;

This beautiful park covers just a hair over 300 acres. It lies on the edge of the city and is mostly forest, with a nice area having been cleared for events with a few playgrounds. At this point the grass is several feet tall and the play equipment is rusting and falling apart. Further into the park runs a small river surrounded by untouched forest. A few trails mark the woods but they are long overgrown and forgotten.
