the highlands

The Highlands is a planned community about an hour from the city. It was mid-construction when the plague hit, and growth was halted. Still, it's an impressive structure that houses a lot of wildlife. A town hall of sorts stands at the center, surrounded by a few shops and crumbling asphalt roads lead to fine houses. Many were occupied until recently, but they now stand empty. If you search hard enough through the weeds, you can find an impressive garden and an orchard that attract all sorts of prey.

Ad Acta is a simple canine RPG with
a small requirement of 200 words per post,
and certainly encourages
quality over quantity. This is for RP
veterans and newbies alike looking to
create their own stories and characters
in an open plot and open world.

Our story
takes place nearing the end of the fall
of mankind. The remaining population is
aging, and unfortunately leaving their
canines behind as they pass. Some dogs
have been on their own for years, some
have never known the touch of man, and
others are new orphans being forced to
learn how to survive in a decaying urban
setting. Our climate and atmosphere
resembles southern California, with mild weather and
a variety of places to explore. You may
choose to gather other dogs and break
free from the city to start a pack, remain in the shadow of mankind
and try to scrape by, or anything else you can
think of. We aim to be intermediate/advanced
and mostly realistic.}
